McCluggage was an accomplished writer and racer in the US and this collection of magazine columns from "Autoweek" -- the magazine she founded as "Competition Press" -- includes her recollections of the drivers she knew including Juan Manuel Fangio, Masten Gregory, Phil Hill, Jean Behra, Wolfgang von Trips, Peter Collins, Harry Schell, Richie Ginther in Europe and Down Home racers Joe Weatherley, Fireball Roberts, Steve McQueen, Don Yenko and Briggs Cunningham.
